Barcode and QR code scanning for inventory
Scan it. Done.
Receive, pick, move and count by scanning. Use the scanners you already own at the desk, and a phone or handheld on the warehouse floor.
What it does
Barcode & QR code scanning in Orderfy.
Scanners you already own
USB and keyboard-wedge barcode scanners work at the desk, in receiving, on picking slips and in the stock grid.
A scanner app for the floor
Warehouse staff sign in to a simple scanner and pick screen on a phone or handheld, and see nothing else.
QR codes on every bay
Print bay labels with QR codes, so putting stock away and moving it is one scan of the bay and one of the product.
Scan to pick
Each scan is checked against the pick list, so the wrong item is caught at the shelf and not at the customer's door.
Scan to receive
Receive a supplier delivery against its purchase order by scanning what arrived.
Barcodes on products
Keep each product's barcode on its record, and find a product by scanning it anywhere you can search.
Do we need special scanning hardware?
No. Any USB or keyboard-wedge scanner works at the desk, and the scanner app runs on a phone or a handheld device.
Does Orderfy use QR codes?
Yes. Bay and location labels print with QR codes, and the scanner app is set up by scanning one.
